Goldie is an adorable 4-year-old sweetheart whose world was turned upside down when she was returned to our care after her previous owner realized they weren't a good match. This heartbreak has left Goldie confused and upset in the kennels as she tries to understand her new surroundings. Goldie is a staff and volunteer favorite, so they make sure that she gets plenty of time outside of her kennel run, but it’s still not the same as the comfort of a true home.

She's looking for a loving family who will provide the care and affection she deserves. Goldie's endearing shyness is her hallmark, and she forms deep bonds with those close to her. Other dogs can sometimes overwhelm Goldie, but she's done well with some after proper introductions. She'll thrive as a companion in an active household as she loves to go on walks and hikes, as well as play! She is a smart cookie and knows several commands, such as sit, down, paw, and touch.
