Pointer (short coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Senior : : Large Won't you think about adopting me?
Tatum is 10 years old and currently lives in a foster home and has been an awesome companion for his retired foster. TATUM's FOSTER UPDATE: It's been amazing having him here, he's been a gentle, affectionate and well mannered companion. We go on 4 walks each day. He walks really well, matching pace and leaving slack in the leash. When I first got him a higher than normal prey drive was an issue, but we've worked on training for that and it's gotten amazingly better! Tatum meets people well and is happy to see them. He doesn't cause trouble when his foster dad goes out and leaves him alone, no chewing or getting into things he shouldn't. He's a medium energy senior boy, usually calm and quiet in the house but sometimes likes to play or run around. Tatum adores being petted, and LOVES being scratched in that special spot behind his ear. He's usually quiet in the house, occasionally barking if he knows you're outside and didn't take him along! Tatum gets anxious and excitable around other animals and kids, so he must got to a home with no children or other pets. Tatum is a wonderful foster, but still needs to find his permanent home, he deserves that so much. Ideally he'd have an experienced handler to continue to give him confidence and who is committed to working with him in return for friendship and companionship. If you could be that family or person, please consider either adopting or fostering Tatum so that he may know the joy of being back in his own home again!
