Introducing Erin, the adorable one-year-old gal who's ready to find her forever home! At 49 lbs of pure fun, this lovable pup is all about living her best life. While her story began in a tough situation when she was abandoned with her six puppies, Erin has overcome it all and is now looking forward to a bright future.

Erin is currently being fostered with another dog, and though she’s learning the ropes of being a good canine companion, she’d thrive in a home where she can be the star of the show—whether she’s your one and only dog or paired with a super-tolerant dog. Erin has a lot of personality and might not be the best fit for dogs that are easily irritated, though she’s ready to continue learning proper doggy manners. She’s still figuring out how to play nicely, so a family with dog experience and patience will help her grow into the best girl she can be. She responds to corrections well and is eager to please.

What makes Erin special? Besides being housebroken and crate-trained (sleeping soundly through the night in there), Erin is a sweet, snuggly girl who gives amazing hugs. Erin is energetic, making her a perfect match for an active family or someone who loves outdoor adventures. Erin is also smart, trainable, and a quick learner.  She will benefit from a patient home that will provide her the mental stimulation she craves from puzzle toys to snuffle mats to slow feeder bowls. Keeping her mind engaged helps her stay happy and balanced! Erin can be a little vocal when she hears noises, but otherwise, she’s pretty quiet. She loves to play so have toys on hand or else, chewable items such as throw pillows and slippers: beware! Erin’s best quality? She loves nuzzling into you for some quality cuddle time. She’s a pro at head smushes and will happily let you shower her with love (and she’ll gladly return the favor).

Erin is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $415. Ready to welcome this wonderful girl into your life? Erin can’t wait to join your family and become your best friend forever. Apply to adopt ERIN LONESTAR today at www.ehrdogs.org and start making memories with this absolute bundle of joy!
